Water Adventures

Sunrise paddles, cannonball contests, and the July regatta. Our spring-fed lake is the coolest place in camp — in every sense — and it's watched over by certified lifeguards at all times.

Life Vests On, Worries Off

Every camper passes a friendly swim check on day one, then earns paddle badges through the week: canoe basics, kayak strokes, rescue practice, and finally the Friday flotilla — a whole-camp paddle across the lake.

  • Canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard lessons
  • Guarded swim cove with buddy checks every 15 minutes
  • July regatta with relays, sprints, and silly races

Water Questions

What if my child can't swim?

They'll learn with us. Non-swimmers start in the shallow cove with one-on-one instructors and snug life vests — most earn their first badge within days.

How is the waterfront supervised?

Two certified lifeguards plus the group's counselors at all times, buddy tags, and headcounts every 15 minutes. No exceptions, no shortcuts.

What should campers bring?

Swimsuit, towel, and water shoes. We supply life vests, paddles, boats, goggles, and more sunscreen than you can imagine.
